Welcome to the Energy Conversion and Optoelectronics (ECO) Lab!

The research in the ECO group is highly interdisciplinary, encompassing energy technology, electrical engineering, and materials science. We extensively collaborate with various academic research groups so as to develop cutting-edge technologies for nanomaterial-based energy and optoelectronic devices.
Our research focuses on a variety of themes ranging from synthesis of emerging nanomaterials, device fabrication, and characterization of material and device properties. The research aims to understand fundamental scientific phenomena at the nanoscale and, ultimately, to integrate these functional materials into the energy and optoelectronic devices.
