Interests: Our focuses are design, management and control of various dynamic systems such as microgrids and smart grids, wireless power transfer systems, electric vehicles and other electromechanical systems. The research includes a strong “interdisciplinary” element, i.e., synergistic integration of physical systems, control theory, sensing and actuation devices, and increasingly importantly human behaviors, which makes possible the generation of smarter, more efficient, resilient and reliable systems.
Activity Overview: Please refer to PPT-1 and PPT-2, the PPTs that particularly summarize our recent activities in energy management and megahertz wireless power transfer, currently two major directions in research at DSC laboratory. This PPT in 2015, PPT-3, introduces our early activities in vibration control, electric vehicle dynamics, and hybrid enegy storage systems, etc.
