Xinfei Guo received his B.Eng degree from Xidian University in China and M.S degree in ECE from the University of Florida in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2018. He was advised by Prof. Mircea Stan. He has been worked in semiconductor industry for over 4 years, including experience at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center as an adjunct researcher during his Ph.D. and working as a Senior SoC Design Engineer for ~3 years at NVIDIA (US) after graduation. Since May 2021, he joined JI as an Assistant Professor. The blending of his academia and industry chip product development experiences led to his research interests to solve practical yet challenging research problems in chip design, including exploring intelligent solutions and methodologies for chip design and designing efficient circuits, architectures and systems that are capable of running intelligent tasks.
