I am currently a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiaotong University Joint Insititute.
My research interest lies in statistical signal processing, array signal processing, and other estimation problems.
I am particularly intrigued by borrowing the ideas from statistics, optimization, and other applied math fields to acquire deeper understanding of classic signal processing problems.
I work quite closely with my students more like an older friend. The intense one-to-one meeting is my favorite, and intellectual challenges are what I like the most.
