- 2023 October: Zhiwei and Prof. Zhou attended the Chinese combustion symposium in Hefei.
- 2023 September: Kaiwen Li and Yuting Weng joined JIM as graduate students.
- 2023 August: Prof. Zhou chaired one session in the Eastern China IC engine Conference (华东四省一市内燃机会议) in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Tongtong gave an oral presentation in this conference, and won a conference paper award (second prize). Congrats Tongtong!
- 2023 June: Prof. Zhou gave an invited talk and chaired one session in the first international OpenFOAM combustion workshop in Chongqing.
- 2023 June: Zhiwei and Hao attended the first international OpenFOAM combustion workshop in Chongqing. Hao Zhang gave an oral presentation and won the only first prize for oral presentation in this workshop (featured by JI news). Congrats Hao!
- 2023 May: Zhiwei attended the Asia-Pacific Combustion Symposium and gave 3 presentations.
- 2023 March: Prof. Zhou gave an invited talk in the Chinese Combustion Symposium for Young Investigators (青年燃烧会议) in Guangzhou.
- 2023 January: Hao Zhang joined JIM as an undergraduate student.

- 2022 May: Shijie got serveral PhD offers from top universities in the US. He accepted the offer from JHU. Congrats!
