Welcome to Laboratory of Advanced Battery Materials and Chemistry
Our group is broadly interested in battery materials and chemistry. We tackle key battery-related problems through a combined experimental and theoretical approach, developing advanced batteries with improved safety, increased energy density and reduced cost. The central theme of our research is to unravel the fundamental correlations between chemistry-structure-performance of functional materials, bridging basic and applied sciences. Current research interests include: (1) mechanistic studies of ion transport in superionic conductors; (2) materials, interfaces and diagnostic tools for solid-state batteries and (3) low-cost sodium and magnesium batteries.
We welcome motivated graduate students and postdocs to contact us for potential opening positions!
